How was the event on June 5th at Galerija N.EON?

Our spring gathering of the returnee community took place in the welcoming and creative setting of the N.EON Gallery, where we continued building connections and inspiring one another toward meaningful change.

The evening was especially significant as we introduced our first impact donation campaign – an initiative that emerged directly from our community, with the goal of transforming the terrace of the University Children’s Hospital “Tiršova” into a space for rest and recovery for children, parents, and medical staff.

Through the returnee stories shared by Uroš Živković, Returning Point director, and Ana Popović, designer and Ana Popovic Shoes founder, we opened an important conversation about how vital community support is in driving initiatives that improve our local environment. Uroš spoke about his personal journey of returning and the strength that lies in community, while Ana shared her experience of launching a successful pop-up event that brings together creatives from the region – and how new beginnings often arise in unexpected places.

In addition to the inspiring talks, all attendees had the opportunity to support the campaign through on-site donations, directly contributing to our shared goal.
