How was the event on March 20th at Zoom Art Cafe & Photo Studio?

On Thursday, March 20th, our first gathering of the Returning Point community in 2025 was filled with inspiration and new insights. In the warm atmosphere of Zoom Art Cafe & Photo Studio, we gathered to connect, share experiences, and listen to two exceptional returnee stories that inspired us to think and take action.

At the beginning of the event, the guests were greeted by Uroš Živković, the director of Returning Point, who wished for the evening to be filled with a spirit of unity. He also reminded everyone of the projects that Returning Point is implementing, as well as the various ways they can support the organization’s work and contribute to the further development of the community.

The stage was then handed over to our speakers: Mirko Mitrović, from the “Prvi put s ocem” community, spoke about their initiatives that help fathers pass on their experiences and values to future generations, as well as what motivated him to join this important initiative. Then, Jovan Paunović shared his story of circular migration and the process of transforming acquired knowledge into a new project – Treesury, a platform that uses blockchain technology to connect farmers with investors.

The whole evening was marked by unity and reflection on topics that are often overlooked, with inspiring discussions on the possibilities that returning to Serbia can bring to social change.
